We had a fun weekend in Montana, according to the official version we went to help Christina plant flowers in her yard...the real truth is that we wanted to visit Christina and just enjoy each other's company. We saw a buffalo grazing by the road as we drove north from West Yellowstone. Christina may have thought it was an invasion when Lydia, Sarah, Collin, Mason, Kara, Anna, Grandma Fisher, and I arrived together. It was probably a good thing Chad was out of town, we would
probably have overwhelmed him! We did work in the yard and planted flowers so that the yard would be beautiful in August for Christina's wedding. It
was great having Jean along because she acted as our gardening expert, and we had a lot of questions!
Kara & Anna, and Lydia and the boys left on Saturday, and then Christina, Sarah, and I went to the plant store
and Christina bought whatever she thought was pretty... then Jean helped us while we spent the rest of the day planting in the gardens everyone had worked so hard to prepare. There was also time to just relax, we got our work done and all too soon it was time to head for home. Sunday morning I took Jean and Sarah to Idaho Falls where we dropped off Sarah and picked up Jane McNaught who was going to spend time helping Jean get her house ready for the EE Fisher reunion. We decided we needed to have more work/play weekends away. ..It was fun to be
able to spend time together. Christina spent Sunday planting the raspberry plants we had brought from our garden in Salt Lake. It rained the whole week after we left so Christina's garden should be well watered! Jef and Dylan worked back home on the garden and got ready for the next big house remodel...taking out the ceiling in the family room!
It was beautiful weather for an outdoor project! But we didn't just work, Christina saddled "Special" and we all had a chance to go for a ride. Jean asked me if I was going to ride, I told her I would if she would...and the next thing I knew she was getting on the horse...

We were glad that Special is a gentle and patient horse because everyone got a chance to ride..
